Devon Mills is a junior at the University of Washington studying Journalism and Women Studies.

She has lived in Washington State for most of her life and absolutely loves the Pacific Northwest. While she is not the most “outdoorsy” person – perhaps an understatement if you ask family and friends – she has recently become interested in learning about ways to live a more eco-friendly life and promote sustainability.

So far, she tries her hardest to separate her recycling correctly and turn off the lights when she leaves a room. Baby steps, as they say.
